Is it compulsory to write the date and address for the situational writing?

Quite tough, especially question 17. It is a pattern question and we do not know how to solve it.

ReplyDeleteHow to Solve Pattern Question:(n refers to pattern number,quotient is result of division and does not include remainder,pattern number was 119)
ReplyDelete(b)Take n divided by 2.Take quotient times 3.If have remainder, add another 3=height of structure.So, pattern 119 divided by 2=59R1,59 times 3=177.177+3=180=Ans
(c)This is a bit harder to explain. You saw pattern 2=20 sticks right? You take that 20 minus the 7 sticks at the bottom and you get 13 sticks,which is the 2 cubes without the bottom seven sticks. Take 13 times the quotient of n divided by 2.Add 8 extra sticks if have remainder 1.(The eight sticks are from the extra cube at the top)
Then add the 7 sticks at the bottom. So,59 times 13=767. 767+7+8=782=Ans
