2) Proverbs / Quotation - Write a scenario where you can apply a proverb/quotation. Make sure the reader can understand the context. It should be a paragraph of about 4-7 sentences.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010!!
Hi everybody!!
Welcome back to Zhenghua Primary School!!
I think all of us are feeling the excitement of going back to school after a more than 1 month break. I hope you all had an enjoyable vacation and are now re-charged to go for the last lap of our primary school education. This will be a very important year for all of us and we have to stay focused and disciplined to achieve the targets that we have been yearning for! Remember this, "You reap what you sow!"
Things to bring on the first day of school (not exhaustive):
1) New exercise books (at least 3)
Mental Sum, Spelling, Vocabulary
2) Jotter Book (for newspaper cutting)
3) Story Book
4) Get your thermometer ready
5) Activity Books (to be kept in the classroom)
*You don't have to bring the textbooks on the first day as I will not be teaching from there. Remember, I do not want you to haul a heavy bag to school.
One new thing I will introduce to the class is about sponsoring a unprivileged child in another country. Will you all be interested? You can take a look at the link below and tell me how to get everyone in the class involved.
