* It's a pity that we have no opportunity to witness the solar eclipse today.
Question of the Day:
When is the next solar eclipse? (Either partial or full)
I always wonder how the astronomers "predict" the eclipse. Can someone advise us on that?

2027.Are you testing whether we are listening?
ReplyDeleteThe movements of the Sun, Earth, and Moon are known quite precisely. This knowledge allows astronomers to predict where and when they will be aligned in a way that produces an eclipse. They can predict how long the eclipse will last, and can plot (in the case of a solar eclipse) the path the eclipse will follow along the surface of the earth.
