  1. In a friut hamper, the number of pears is 50% of the total number of mango and plums. The number of mango is 25% of the number of pears. If there are 24 fruits atogether, find the number of plums.

  4. Ashley, Bella and Clarrise worked together in a competition and decided on how to share the prize that they get. They decided to share the money equally and donate 10% of the money to the orphanage.

    Prizes:

    1st place:$300 cash
    2nd place:$200 cash
    3rd place:$100 cash
    Consolation:$55 cash

    At the end of the competition, there was a change in plans on how much they were supposed to get. in the end, Ashley got 0.225 of the prize money, Bella got $85 and Clarrise got 25%. 10% of the money was still donated to the orphanage.
    a)What prize had the girls won?
    b)How much did they donate to the orphanage?
    c)What is the total amount of money Bella have to pay back to Ashley and Clarrise?
