A coral is an animal; just because it is fixed to the ground does not mean it's a plant. Also, corals do not have leaves, therefore they're obviously not plants
ReplyDeleteCoral reefs are warm, clear, shallow ocean habitats that are rich in life. The reef's massive structure is formed from coral polyps, tiny animals that live in colonies; when coral polyps die, they leave behind a hard, stony, branching structure made of limestone. Coral reefs are actually animals. They are important for many reasons. Here are some examples: Tourism,Unreplaceble beauty, big diversity of creatures, we depend on some of the creatures that live there for food, and prevention from erosion of islands or soil. They are very unique as they are teemed with lots of creatures. They can also be very colourful!
