It has been quite a while since I last updated the blog.
Wish all of you all the best for the PSLE Oral Examination. Don't be nervous. All of you have the ability to do well for the Oral Examination. Just be yourself and you will perform well!
Forget to remind you one more point. You can always use the school values, Care, Respect and Responsiblity, to bring across your ideas. In the Conversation component, do not be shy to share your feelings and ideas. The examiners would like to hear you talk and know what you are thinking. Impress them what you know about the current affairs too.
Good luck!!

ReplyDeleteAre you referring to the Speed question?
If you are, this may help you to solve the question.
1) What fraction of the total distance did the lorry travel in that 2 hours?
2) What fraction of the total distance did the car travel in that 2 hours and 20 min?
1) What fraction of the total distance was not covered by the car and lorry?
Hope the above questions will stimulate you to think get the answer. Happy solving!
Hi Hanchen,
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing wrong with the question.
Read the question carefully.
We have done this kind of question before.
Strategy: Work backwards.
You just have to be extra careful when working backwards as we tend to commit careless mistakes when working in opposite direction.
(Hint: Answer is a 2-digit whole number.)
the oral was pretty fine I think. The examiner was very friendly! Thank goodness!
ReplyDeleteMr Soh,
ReplyDeleteWe had finally managed to solve the question. Thanks.
