Question Of the Day:
Can you use metaphors or similes to describe your feelings the week before school or the first week of school? Other than your feelings, you can also talk about anything you witness.
Looking forward to your description! Remember....simile and metaphor are used to help the reader to "see" the things that we are describing (to make it more vividly).

I felt happy as a lark as I can meet my friends again and at the same time I felt as nervous as a rat as I don't know where to sit in the hall(LOL). In basketball, I felt sooooooo weak as I had not practice for a month! Anyways, now, I felt excited and could not wait to take PSLE:P.

During the first day of school, we woke up at 5.45 am. We were on cloud nine as we were very excited for school. We were like rushing ants looking for food for the queen ant as we do not want to be late for school. We had been longing to go to school as at home, we were as dull as a dishwasher. We knew that P6 was not as easy as apple-pie.After all, we enjoyed our first day of school.
ReplyDeletei am as happy as a rat with gold teeth and i am in all smiles when i met my friends. i am also like a cat on hot bricks to find out who my new subjects teachers are(even though i had already knew some of them). i felt very nervous at the same time too, as it was the first day of school re-open, but i could see some my friends were as cool as a cucumber.i am getting worried about handling my PSLE but however, since most of those last year primary six pupils had passed their PSLE, i dont think that it would be much of a problem to me. haha]]
