We change our mind to do poem since there is too many people choosing Facts. At least, our schoolmates will think that our class is so uninteresting.

  12. I also didnt get a chance to witness the solar eclipse! What a dissapointment!:(

A Solar Eclipse occurs when the moon goes in front of the sun and blocks most of the sun's light from the earth. During a total eclipse all you can see from earth is a ring of light around the moon which is part of the sun the moon did not cover. It is dangerous to look at a solar eclipse directly, even if you have sun glasses or smoked glass. It is better to view solar eclipses through a pin hole projector.

Just for more info, I will also share with you what is a lunar eclipse.:>

A lunar eclipse occurs when the moon passes through the shadow of the earth. A lunar eclipse can last up to an hour and a half. During a lunar eclipse the moon may turn a reddish color. It is not dangerous at all to look at a lunar eclipse because the moon does not make its own light.

Now, what is the difference between a peom and a poetry?

Poem is singular and poetry refers to many poems or poems in general.

The moon blocks the sun....The next full eclipse is a few hundred years later but I do not think that we can live that long to see the eclipse...:(

  17. A solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the Sun and the Earth so that the Sun is fully or partially covered. This can only happen during a new moon, when the Sun and Moon are in conjunction as seen from the Earth. At least two and up to five solar eclipses can occur each year on Earth, with between zero and two of them being total eclipses.Total solar eclipses are nevertheless rare at any location because during each eclipse totality exists only along a narrow corridor in the relatively tiny area of the Moon's umbra.

  18. A poem is a single piece of poetry, complete in itself. Poetry is the collective term used to describe many pieces of poetry, which may or may not be related by theme, author, or style.

  19. A solar eclipse occurs the moon is in between the Earth and the Sun.We won't be able to see the sun as the moon blocks the Sun. This is different from a lunar eclipse where the Earth is in the middle between the Sun and the moon. You won't be able to see the moon during a luna eclipse.

  22. A solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes in a direct line between the Earth and the sun. The moon's shadow travels over the Earth's surface and blocks out the sun's light as seen from Earth.
